USB Flash Drive Write Protection Error

If u have a problem in flash drive(pen drive) and it said write protected?

Don’t Worry, i fixed this problem by going into the registry edit

Just do the following:

1) Goto Run Registry Editor (regedit).

2) Navigate to the following registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l

3) Go into StorageDevicePolicies.

4) Highlight StorageDevicePolicies, and then delete the current dword 32 bit and create a New DWORD (32-bit) Value no name it leave it as is.

Write Protected error while Formatting inTranscend Pen Drive?

Think this write protection error is due to some virus.

Steps to remove write protection for Transcend users:

1) Goto download center of the transcend,

here is the link http://www.transcendusa.com/Support/DLCenter

Type the model no. or part of model number you are looking for.
example: JFV30(all alphabets in Caps )

2) Choose other details like product type etc. and search for your product.

3)Then select the product which which is most similar to yours from search results

4)Then download the Recovery Tool utility. If you will asked for serial no. if you dont have..enter this no. 1456784523

5) Click the Recovery Tool.

6) Click on the particular type OS

7) Enter your Email ID and click download

8) Insert your JetFlash into a PC with Internet connection and runOnLineRecovery.exe

9) Double Click the Download file utility and select full formatafter full format your write protection will be removed.

10) You can recover you data too with this softwareOnLineRecovery.

Try twice or thrice if you can't correct at first time.
