Your Name in Internet Explorers Title bar

Description:
Window title and the Page title make the title of the Internet Explorer window. By Default, Microsoft displays “Microsoft Internet Explorer” as the Internet Explorer window title. You can replace this window title with the text that you want to display. To add a new title, make changes in the registry.

Go to Start --> Run
type-->regedit
hit Enter and Navigate to
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\]

You can create a string value “Window Title” in “Main” subkey, if this value does not exist. Now, double-click on “Window Title”, to write the new title name in Value Data field. However, to get back to the default title name, delete the “Window Title” value name from the registry.

Refresh view of your computer for the changes to take effect.

Steps to follow:

The title bar of 'Internet Explorer' displays the default title "Microsoft Internet Explorer".


To Change this Title do the Process Below:

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".



Second, go to the [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\] key and create a string value with the name "Window Title" under "Main".


Third, right-click on the "Window Title" String value and click on 'Modify'.



Finally, enter the new custom title of your choice in the text box and click on 'OK'.


Then, the title bar of 'Internet Explorer' displays a customized window title.
